Sanjeev Parkar, an industry veteran with nearly two and half decades of diverse HR experience, is a Senior Director Human Capital with PwC India.
At PwC, over the last 10 years, he has played a multifaceted role - National HR Head - Tax Practice (PwC India).
After having spent considerable time in leadership roles, he has come to believe that each of us needs to find that sweet spot where professional practices find synergy with our ingrained values.
Sanjeev draws his core values of humility and service from two important institutions - the joint family he was blessed to be a part of and his Alma Mater – MILS. His upbringing and education segued into volunteering for several NGOs working towards educating the youth. He has personally groomed hundreds of students over the last 25 years.
Sanjeev's professional journey began in 1995 handling Industrial Relations. In the next two decades, he ventured into myriad human resource portfolios such as Change Management, OD interventions, Employee Engagement etc. working across sectors viz. Manufacturing, Shipping, Software, Market Research and Professional services.
His rich experience and his education as a Masters in Labour Studies helped him author HR policies that meet the demands of rapidly shifting HR paradigms, while conforming to the laws of the land.
He is an avid sportsman and pursues his interest in Cricket, Table tennis, Air Rifle shooting, Sports biking very regularly. His involvement in Outdoor Sports, CSR, HRD Networks, and Coaching coupled with a natural humor and flair to adapt with any strata of the society helped him build a vast network of people around him.
He draws a lot of enthusiasm and motivation at work from his team members and he is proud of the team that he has built and developed in PwC.
